I have been drawing in earnest and around other commitments for about three years now. I have always loved the natural feel of using pencils – lead or coloured. Mainly I use lines with my drawings however partial or full shading to give the subject more depth is great and a forever learning experience.

I draw animals or other varied subjects though mainly birds. Obviously specific  subjects that visually really enthuse , or fascinate me I very much lean towards.

I grew up in a family environment with the love of birds , especially my father and his knowledge so I’ve never really lost the curious fascination. My sisters and I would spend hours looking for nests and sight seeing on the farm for birds.

I have sold many printed  cards and various pieces in  exhibitions with more projects soon to be organised – looking forward.
